Mother Mary,
I learned that September 8th marks the day of your nativity.
I cannot comprehend your strength in faith.Â
I try a little sometimes, but not without stumbling, calling upon your son or your name.
I am grateful for your model of unwavering faith in love.Â
As a mother myself who has no greater joy than seeing my children happy, healthy, and achieving little goals, I cannot fathom the thoughts you must’ve had just observing the discrimination and divide in your land, knowing the King in your belly would come to save humankind!
Though you have a team of Angels to direct your way and fill your heart, mothers can feel bullied by the very love we freely give away to be used by our child’s unknowing manipulation to pull at our heart.
We may over-protect when we should let them run; we may over-direct when the child has their own experience to behold.
Mother Mary, when you let Jesus go into the desert alone
When you heard the news of his many followers and later trust betrayed
When you knelt before him as he hung at the cross,Â
or carried him in your arms at the end of his life.
You were the one person Jesus had full confidence while walking this earth,Â
and without a doubt the first person to see him accepted and resurrected by GOD.
Blessed Mother, how must your love and devotion be so pure?
The child shares DNA to repair and strengthen the mother’s body. I wonder if this is how it’s always been or something Jesus started.
Blessed Mary our lady of trials and triumph thank you for shining your love, if only we all practiced your grace the holy land would still stand. -ES

I posted the video above because the voice is so beautiful as well as the image. I hope we can appreciate the beauty without any labels or obstructions from the heart.
